Is Welland Vale Nursery to become a garden centre?

I often pop over to Welland Vale in Uppingham. They have a huge selection of plants and trees laid out in an orderly fashion which makes it very easy to get what you need - or even what you didn't know you needed. One of the best things about this nursery is that the owners know their 'onions', so good advice is always on hand. I heard through the 'grapevine' that it is to become a garden centre, although this hasn't been confirmed . . anyone know?

Great Plant Nursery!

Just spotted the voucher on here, and went along to Welland Vales 'Plants Direct' to get some shrubbery for the garden, and all i can say is wow! Massive selection, helpful and knowledgeable staff and great prices on things you dont normally see at the garden centres! Looking forward to their next development - watch this space - very exciting!

Well stocked wholesale and retail nursery

I accompanied a friend to Welland Vale to buy 2 ornamental bay trees - 6ft high. Unlike most other gaden centres, the choice was enormous . . . 3ft, 4ft, 6 ft, 10 ft, straight truck, spiral trunk . . and on it goes. Definitely the place to visit if your garden is bigger than a tennis court. Great service as well. Recommended.
