We have been visiting the potting shed most wk ends now for about a year and are delighted to have found somewhere at last with a warm welcome and consistently good food and service.The breakfasts are a real treat always tasty and piping hot. John certainly has great people skills,the perfect recipe id say !

From a quick cream tea to a long lingering lunch, The Potting Shed covers all tastes. The food is always of a high standard. The staff are cheerful and welcoming to all, nothing is too much trouble. I highly recommend it, go and try it too!

The Potting Shed in Ashwell All Day Breakfast amazing!

Seriously… you need to get up there and pay them a visit. I had their all day breakfast today and it was brilliant. Just enough and the quality of the food was great - given the very reasonable £6.50 price tag. A Saturday morning hangover cure?... Defiantly! Thanks guys, see you again.

POTTING SHED

Great food and wonderfully friendly service. Nothing is too much bother for Val and John and their staff.
Their gammon is the best I have had anywhere. Steak and Kidney pie, and pudding, and apple pie to die for.
Parking is plentiful, easy and free.

You must visit

Finally got round to visiting The Potting Shed after hearing about how good it is and seeing all the fantastic reviews on this site. I was not disappointed. What a great place and why haven't I been there before? Easy parking, tasty food, brilliant service and great FUN. Don't ever change, you are just perfect.
