Dangerous Parking on both sides of Stamford Road, Oakham

Rutland County Council has recently suggested double yellow lines at the bend in Stamford Road, Oakham, but did they consider the fact that careless motorists would start parking on both sides of the main commuter route into Oakham?

Dangerous parking on Stamford Road, Oakham
Residents of Stamford Road must be fuming as they struggle to get out of their drives. Parking now goes all the way up to the 'Welcome to Oakham' sign blocking both sides of Catmos Park Road. Some welcome.

Quoting The Parking Review Report 159/2011 from the Strategic Director for Places. Cllr Brookes said that the report that was accepted included sinlge line bend only.
