The newly formed Rutland Anti-Corruption Group will attend first full council meeting on 13th February
The new political party is made up of four existing Independent councillors; Gale, Richardson,Wainwright and Montgomery.
They will each remain independent in the way they vote, but believe that as a party they will have more power to access council information. Does this mean that councillors are kept in the dark?
I'm not sure that the name the party has chosen conveys the right message, both for them (makes them sound like militants), or Rutland County Council (can we trust them if councillors feel the need to form an Anti-Corruption Group?). Just my view.
Should be an interesting meeting.

Anti-corruption suggests that there is corruption - and I didn't need a degree in anything to work that one out. How very sad, that the Rutland Four feel the need to publicise their manifesto in this way. A bit one dimentional.

ReportI think it's very provocative, but guess that's the intention. We'll have to see what happens . . .

ReportIt's a bit of a feeble banner to go under.
Let's see if they have any evidence to back it up because it's all rather suggestive and holier than thou. It hasn't taken a degree in marketing to dig that one up.
Mind you a couple of them often have a lot to say but nothing substantive to back it up.
